Welcome to PHooty...

A game, a tradition, a PHenomenon.

Introduction

Started some time before 2010 (the exact date is lost in PHooty history), PHooty was created by Sam Halsall, Phil Hammond and Conrad McBride as a weekly, good-humoured-yet-competitive 7-a-side game on the (back then newly laid) Park House 3G astro turf. Over a decade and a half later, a weekly PHuesday or PHursday match has been played pretty much every week since original inception.

The Rules

Only keepers in the area during normal play. Any part of the line of the box counts as inside.

Throw-ins not kick-ins.

For corners, only 2 defenders in the box (+ keeper), unlimited strikers. Goals must be headers or volleys.

Balls over the fence - last one to to touch it gets it. Unless saved by keeper; then striker gets it. "Get it at the end" only applies for last 10 minutes.

Everyone goes in goal.

Lost balls are charged at £13. No exceptions.
